Elon Musk brings odd fascination for 24th letter to popular social media platform.

In a surprising move, Twitter's iconic blue bird logo is set to be replaced by a black-and-white "X" as part of a significant rebranding effort led by Elon Musk. The change comes after Musk's acquisition of the social media giant for a staggering $44 billion the previous year, and it signals a new direction for the platform.

Musk's recent decision to impose "temporary limits" on tweet viewing has also stirred discussion within the Twitter community. The move was aimed at addressing concerns about data scraping and system manipulation, but it met with mixed reactions. Verified accounts were initially limited to reading 6,000 posts per day, while unverified accounts were restricted to 600. However, Musk quickly adjusted the limits, increasing them to 10,000 for verified accounts, 1,000 for unverified accounts, and 500 for new unverified users.

The logo change comes at a crucial time for Twitter, as it faces both competition and the challenge of restoring advertiser confidence. Meta's new app, Threads, launched recently, has been viewed as a potential alternative for users dissatisfied with Twitter's current state. As Musk strives to lure back advertisers, he recognizes the necessity of maintaining a balance between allowing free expression and curbing harmful content.
