In yet one more example of the Chinese telecommunications giant’s ongoing battle with U.S. corporations, Huawei has filed suit against Verizon in U.S. District Court for multiple allegations of patent infringement. The company is seeking compensation for the use of networking, download security and video communication technology it says are covered by 12 patents.
"Verizon's products and services have benefited from patented technology that Huawei developed over many years of research and development," Dr. Song Liuping, Huawei's chief legal officer, said in a release.
